We had another great match. Thanks to the many shooters from the White River Gang that came down to shoot with us. It sure felt good to have a nice group of cowboys and cowgirls on hand to watch the fastest (and only) GUNFIGHTER, take first place overall. I won’t mention his name since he is such a modest fellow.
Young Guns (Chad) was a new shooter, though he has been at our gun show and on the range many times. He proved that he was as good at shooting as he was at picking up brass, running errands and in general doing things the Cowboy Way. Hope he continues to attend our matches.
A very special thanks goes out to Sherry for all of her work at the match. She isn’t a shooter yet, but she jumps right in and picks up brass, counts misses and helps in many ways. Thanks again.
Remember that we will have a 5th Saturday shoot this month. For those not attending True Grit, the AR state championship match, come on out and shoot with the SFRR.
Our Prayers go out for Gunsmoke (Les Staudacher). He has been having health problems and has not been seen on our range for a while. All of us wish him well and hope to see him back in the saddle soon.
